familyandfriendoutreach (FAFO) is a community-led advocacy and resource organization, founded by parents and families who have personally experienced abuse, misconduct, or unlawful actions by government agencies involved in child and family systems.

We can't give you legal advice. We're not attorneys - we're parents who've been through this. Get yourself a real lawyer for your case. Seriously.

Too many families go through this completely alone. No one tells you what your rights are. No one explains what's about to happen in court. No one shows you how to fight back when DCF breaks their own policies.
We built this because we remember what it felt like to have nothing and no one.
